The Glowforge laser cutter is a versatile desktop device that uses a laser to cut, engrave, and score a variety of materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, and more.Attendees will learn how to design a file for successful engraving/cutting using Google Slides, Photopea, or the Glowforge’s native design environment and how to safely and sustainably operate the Glowforge Pro laser engraver.For more information on how you can be successful operating the Glowforge and for a list of approved materials take a look at our Getting Started Guide.Upon completion of this training, attendees will be certified to reserve and use the equipment through our Library Calendar website.-----------------Age RequirementsAll patrons, 10 and up should sign up individually.
