Put your own stamp on your home library in this makerspace workshop! With guidance from the makerspace technician, participants will learn to use the Glowforge Pro laser engraver to create a custom ex libris (“from the library of”) stamp, perfect for marking personal books or personalizing gift dedications. Participants will learn the basics of using the Glowforge Pro laser engraver, including preparing a simple design file, setting up materials, and operating the machine safely. No prior experience is required; materials and instruction will be provided. Register to attend.
This program requires a $5 deposit to hold the reservation; cash or check payable to 'FOGPL' and delivered to library staff at least 48 hours prior to the program. Funds are used to offset the cost of materials and are non-refundable.
