• Attendees will gain an introductory exposure to how to find a 3d file (STL) on sites like Thingiverse and design their own files with software like Tinkercad.

• Attendees will learn how to design a file for successful engraving/cutting using Google Slides, Photopea, or the Glowforge’s native design environment and how to safely and sustainably operate the Glowforge Pro laser engraver.

• Attendees will gain an exposure for how the Cricut cutting machine can take digital designs created in the Cricut Design Space and print/cut their project onto sticker paper, vinyl, and other soft materials.

After this…

• Attendees will learn about the art of Sublimation which uses heat to transfer graphics, like the ones taken with your phone, and transfer them to ‘blanks’ such as tee shirts, puzzles, mugs, and wood.
