Join us in the makerspace for a demonstration and training on how to design for and use the Bambu 3D Printer.  

• Attendees will gain an introductory exposure to how to find a 3d file (STL) on sites like Thingiverse and design their own files with software like Tinkercad.  
• Following this attendees will then learn how to use the Bambu P1S 3d printers to print basic projects.
• For more information on how you can be successful designing and printing in 3D take a look at our Getting Started Guide.
• Upon completion of this training, attendees will be certified to reserve and use the equipment through our Library Calendar website.

Age Requirements

• All patrons, 10 and up should sign up individually.  Registration is required for all active and passive participants.
• Children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the space.
• Youth between 10-16 may use the space under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian who has completed a training session with the Makerspace staff.  Limit one youth per Adult.

Safety and use guidelines:

• Please follow the guidelines and sign the Patron Equipment Use Agreement and the Patron Code of Conduct while in the Makerspace.  (Printed copies of the Use Agreement are available in the Makerspace)
• Closed-toe shoes are required in the makerspace.

• Attendees will gain an exposure for how the Cricut cutting machine can take digital designs created in the Cricut Design Space and print/cut their project onto sticker paper, vinyl, and other soft materials.

Join us in the makerspace for a demonstration and training on the GlowForge Pro laser cutter.  The Glowforge laser cutter is a versatile desktop device that uses a laser to cut, engrave, and score a variety of materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, and more.

• Attendees will learn how to design a file for successful engraving/cutting using Google Slides, Photopea, or the Glowforge’s native design environment and how to safely and sustainably operate the Glowforge Pro laser engraver.
