Join us in the makerspace for a demonstration and training on the GlowForge Pro laser cutter. The Glowforge laser cutter is a versatile desktop device that uses a laser to cut, engrave, and score a variety of materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, and more.
- Attendees will learn how to design a file for successful engraving/cutting using Google Slides, Photopea, or the Glowforge’s native design environment and how to safely and sustainably operate the Glowforge Pro laser engraver.
- For more information on how you can be successful operating the Glowforge and for a list of approved materials take a look at our Getting Started Guide.
- Upon completion of this training, attendees will be certified to reserve and use the equipment through our Library Calendar website.
