DESCRIPTION:Create a set of personalized slate coasters perfect for giftin
 g or your own table! With guidance from the Makerspace Technician, partici
 pants will use the Glowforge Pro laser engraver to create and engrave a pe
 rsonal monogram design into slate. You will learn the basics of using the 
 Glowforge Pro laser engraver, including preparing a simple design file, se
 tting up materials, and operating the machine safely to create a unique an
 d durable set of monogrammed coasters. No prior experience required. All m
 aterials provided. Register to attend.This program requires a $5 deposit t
 o hold the reservation; cash or check payable to 'FOGPL' and del
 ivered to library staff at least 48 hours prior to the program. Funds are 
 used to offset the cost of materials and are non-refundable. Sponsored by
