Event Details

Catch some pawsitive vibes with four-footed, furry friend Emmie. Join us the second Monday of the month, 1:00 - 2:00 PM, for tail-waggin' fun at the library. A visit with Welcome Wagger Emmie and Handler Kathryn Kircher is known to lower stress hormones and blood pressure, raise mood-boosting endorphins, and prompt smiles all around.   

Register OR drop in for cuddle time with Emmie June 9, July 7*, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, and December 8. 

*The July 7 visit is on the FIRST Monday of the month rather than the second Monday of the month 

More about Emmie and Kathryn:

Emmie is a well-mannered, attentive, Havanese with a calm and gentle disposition. Her beautiful outer coat is groomed frequently and soft and silky to the touch. She's been a volunteer Welcome Wagger at Hartford Hospital since August 2023 and is comfortable around people of all ages. 

Kathryn is a Granby resident and certified Alliance of Therapy Dogs Handler. She and Emmie volunteer regularly at Hartford Hospital and now at Granby Public Library! To learn more about Alliance of Therapy Dogs go to therapydogs.com or call 307.432.0272.
