Program Description

Event Details

Join instructor Sandra Salazar for a hands-on workshop using the Brother sewing machine and learn to make button holes. She will also teach participants how to sew on a variety of buttons the right way. All materials provided. No fee.  Sponsored by The Friends of the Granby Public Libraries. 

For adults and teens ages 16+. Space is limited. If the workshop is full, be sure to add your name to the waitlist so we can accommodate you at another time.

About the presenter: 

Sandy Salazar is a fiber artist from Granby who has enjoyed creating clothing and art for over 30 years. She is the creator of Wild Hugs and “1+1=NEW”. She believes that sewing is an important “every day skill“ and enjoys teaching and helping people build confidence in those skills. Sandy is also a passionate sustainable sewer – mending or combining clothes to minimize purchasing new ones.
