Event Details

Discussing The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson.  A science fiction novel about a future world where nanotechnology has become a part of everyday life.  Themes of education, social class, ethnicity, and the nature of artificial intelligence are interwoven within the novel.  Published in 1995 the novel won both the Hugo & Lucus Awards & was shortlisted for the Nebula award. Leading the discussion is Jim Gorman.  Registration is requested.
