Event Details

Discussing Yiddish Policemen’s Union by Kim Stanley Robinson.  The novel is set in an alternate 2007 in the Yiddish-speaking metropolis of Sitka, Alaska. It follows the story of homicide detective Meyer Landsman as he investigates the murder of a former chess prodigy & the impending end of a sixty-year old temporary settlement. Leading the discussion is Jim Gorman. Registration is requested.
