Discussing Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. Tress lives a simple life on an island in an emerald-green ocean. She collects cups from sailors and listens to stories told by her friend Charlie.  When Charlie’s father takes him on a voyage to find a bride disaster strikes. Tress must now seek the Sorceress of the deadly Midnight Sea.
