Event Details

Discussing Out of the Dark by David Weber.  The galactic Hegemony like stability.  The Carnivorous Shongairi like to disturb. When the Hegemony encounter humans who are almost as bad as the Shongairi it seemed reasonable to use the Shongairi to neutralize them. Now the human race is on the brink of extinction but have the Hegemony and Shongairi underestimated the resistance of the inhabitants of Earth?
