Join us for a relaxing movie experience at the library. Unwind on the second Monday of the month with a mix of classic films and hidden gems that cater to all tastes. Whether you're a movie buff or just looking for a pleasant way to spend your afternoon, the Monday Movie Matinee is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a film in the company of fellow community members.

This month’s film selection is The Monuments Men, a captivating World War II drama directed by George Clooney, starring Clooney himself, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and Cate Blanchett. Based on a true story, the film follows a group of art historians and museum curators who risk their lives to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Nazis. As they venture deep into enemy territory, they face tremendous obstacles, but their dedication to preserving cultural heritage shines through in the face of adversity. A heartfelt story of bravery, teamwork, and the importance of art, The Monuments Men reminds us of the value of history and human connection.

Rated PG-13 for some violence, language, and suggestive content; run time 1 hour 58 minutes. Registration required.

Complimentary snacks provided; you are welcome to bring your own beverage in a container with a lid.
