Event Details

Create a set of personalized slate coasters perfect for gifting or your own table! With guidance from the Makerspace Technician, participants will use the Glowforge Pro laser engraver to create and engrave a personal monogram design into slate. You will learn the basics of using the Glowforge Pro laser engraver, including preparing a simple design file, setting up materials, and operating the machine safely to create a unique and durable set of monogrammed coasters. No prior experience required. All materials provided. Register to attend.

This program requires a $5 deposit to hold the reservation; cash or check payable to 'FOGPL' and delivered to library staff at least 48 hours prior to the program. Funds are used to offset the cost of materials and are non-refundable.
