Learn the basics of how Spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets work and how you can use them for simple activities such as:

  • Creating a budget
  • Keeping track of expenses
  • Planning an event
  • Managing the small bits of a small business
  • Capturaing timelines of events with details.

Attendees will become acquainted with:

  • How to enter data into Spreadsheets
  • How to use per-generated templates to kick-start your work.
  • Explaining how/why you would use a spreadsheet for something and not another piece of software.

Afterwards attendees will have open lab time to explore the program under the supervision of the instructor.  

We will provide all media necessary for the training portion.  

Participants must have their own Google Account which is free to create.
