Event Details

Learn the basics of "what you see is what you get" website designers with Google Sites.  There are many WYSIWYG website builders out there (Squarspace, WordPress, Wix, etc) but for ease of use and simplicity Google Sites is a great place to start.  

Attendees will become acquainted with:

  • The various design elements of Google Sites
  • How it integrates with other Google cloud applications like Docs, Maps, and YouTube.
  • How you can jumpstart your design with themed templates.

Afterwards attendees will have open lab time to explore the program under the supervision of the instructor.  

We will provide all media necessary for the training portion.  We welcome patrons to bring some graphical files to experiment with afterwards.

Participants must have their own Google Account which is free to create.
