Will Madsen and members of the Granby Conservation Commission share sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and composting methods to enrich soil and reduce landfill waste. Special guest presenters from Blue Earth Compost will answer questions about food scrap collection. Blue Earth Compost is a leading food scrap collection service for residents in Connecticut as well as municipalities and businesses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. They turn millions of pounds of wasted food into soil products.
