Event Details

The McLean Game Refuge assembles a broad mixture of geologies, land types, and waterways into one of southern New England’s most diverse places. Accordingly, a remarkable diversity of plants and animals can be found on the 4,400 acre tract located in Granby, Simsbury, and Canton. Researchers have documented 641 plants, 334 fungi, and 152 birds. Forest Manager Connor Hogan shares conservation information, including habitat protection, species monitoring, and more. Questions welcomed! Register to attend.
